FOUNDATION
Crossing oceans wasn’t a metaphor for us.
It was the event that shaped how we think about every detail of Delgrappo. The immensity of water, the horizon line, and the depth of the unknown influence our work, especially in how we think about colour, depth, and surface. The ocean represents the discipline required for the journey, and the freedom of those who do not fear a new horizon.
But the immensity of the sea found its limit in the finitude of the body. The day we became parents, time changed. Days became finite, not in theory, but in the flesh. That awareness brought us back to what is fundamental. Delgrappo is drawn to what remains when everything else passes. Not by accident, but because it carries the strength to endure.
That is Delgrappo. What holds, what endures, what remains. Our timepieces are defined by weight: function, proportion, reason. The same standard governs every step, it is the line we hold.
Our roots gave us discipline.
The ocean crossing gave us the audacity of vision.

IDENTITY
THE NAME
Delgrappo takes its name from Cismon del Grappa, a small town in the Italian Alps and the ancestral home of the founder’s family.
In 1880, his ancestors left that place and crossed the ocean to begin again. Generations later, the ocean was crossed once more in a different direction.
A tribute to a place that carries the weight of many steps in this story.
OUR SYMBOL
We named our symbol Alvora. Its origin is the gnomon. Ancient. Simple. Exact. Built to measure time with the most precise material we have: the constants of nature. The path of the sun, the rotation of the Earth, the shadow that doesn’t lie. As light moved, the shadow marked the exact moment of the day. Again and again, through the four quarters of light, the four seasons, across the four corners of the world. From that arrow of shadow, multiplied by four, our mark emerges.
